Love isn't a word I'd use to describe how I feel about math. But when I saw James Wyper's geometric art I found a reason to love math!
First, we started out with some fluid acrylics our canvas for our first layer.
Then, using a compass, ruler and pencil the kids got to do their own geometric design.
After that, they picked out some colors and started painting.
Some chose to use a pallet knife....
Others a foam brush...
After their paintings were dry, we outlined in black paint to make them POP!
