For the last day with my 7-9 yr old group we did a lesson that was always a big hit in my classroom. At the beginning of each school year we would do a collage self portrait on a pizza box which would hold their art project throughout the year. The last day, they would carry their treasure box home filled with a year of memories.
These were a BIG hit with parents.
I'll let the pictures do the talking. The kids did great! They are pretty fabulous!
Great way to end the first group :)
